The summer season in Dublin is fuelled with events of every kind, for every taste and for everyone. Whether you’re a foodie, cultural buff or would like to bring your little one, you will be thrilled by this summers event and festival program if you’re looking for things to do in Dublin.

Bloom – 31st of May to 4th June 2018

Bloom set itself as Ireland’s largest and most spectacular gardening event. Located on the beautiful grounds of Phoenix park this event is based on the format of the RHS Chelsea Flower Show and RHS Hampton Court Place shows. It will display over 30 creative gardens, offer a range of animations for children, and food lovers and will have the opportunity to meet Ireland’s top food and producers in the Food Village.

Taste of Dublin – 14th to 17th of June 2018

For four days, the city’s best restaurants will delight visitors with exquisite signature dishes in the beautiful Iveagh Garden. This year’s theme is “Food Lovers Playground” and will be followed by a vast array of restaurants, producers, bars and exhibitors. Taste of Dublin will also host interactive demos and masterclass, beer and wine tasting and live entertainment. A foodie’s heaven is the centre of the city!

The festival of Curiosity – 19th to 22nd of July 2018

The festival of Curiosity is a cultural event with a family day program and a night program suitable for adults. The festival offers visual and interactive experiences that mix technology, design, art and science in a playful and curious way. It gathers every year over 45,000 attendees across 14 venues in the city centre. Secret tours, night cycle, films, and visual arts are to be expected during this exciting and one of its kind festival.

Dublin Horse Show – 8th to 12th of August 2018

One of the hottest events of the Irish Sport Horse calendar, the Dublin Horse Show is the ultimate day out for any horse lover. The event is also renowned for its Ladies’ Day and will offer shopping opportunities, Irish crafts and an entertainment program to keep the little one busy.
