All of our event spaces are both stylish and flexible, meaning we can tailor an events plan based on your specific requirements to suit any occasion, from intimate private dining to large-scale conferences. Our Meeting & Events team can tailor event plans bespoke to your specific requirements, including any food and beverage requests your group may have.
Each meeting space is fully equipped with the most up-to-date technology to ensure ease of business during your meeting or event, including state-of-the-art AV equipment and complimentary ultra-fast WiFi.
The Alex’s central location ensures you’re within easy walking distance of everything in Dublin City Centre, including iconic landmarks like Trinity College Dublin or Guinness Storehouse, vibrant shopping streets and business districts. The hotel is also conveniently located just steps from Dublin’s best commuter links. Pearse Street Train Station is a quick 3-minutes walk away offering rail services across Dublin and Ireland, while Dawson Street Luas Stop is just a 10-minute stroll for city-wide tram services. Additionally, all major Dublin Bus City Centre Route are minutes from the hotel, and Dublin Bikes Station is conveniently located right on Fenian Street
The Orient
The Orient is the biggest and most versatile meeting space at The Alex, making it ideal for exhibitions, gala dinners, and large conferences.
The versatility of the space means the room can be divided up into four smaller spaces, ideal for intimate gatherings or workshops.
The Odyssey
The Odyssey is located on the ground floor of the Alex, adjacent to the hotel lobby and open-plan work hub. The space features huge windows opening on to Fenian Street, making this a bright and inviting room for medium-sized events and is ideal for meetings and gala dinners.
The Rovos
The Rovos is a smaller, more intimate space within the Alex that packs a punch thanks to its unique style, spanning 52 sqm/560 sqft. Featuring designer wallpaper and herringbone wooden flooring, the Rovos is accessible directly from the hotel lobby and is ideal for small meetings, press conferences or private dinners.
The Secret Garden
Our Secret Garden is an outdoor terrace located on the ground floor of the Alex which is available for exclusive hire. Ideal for al fresco private dining, baby showers and all other intimate gatherings, the terrace features a gorgeous floral-inspired design, a fully retractable roof for sunny days and heaters for when it gets chilly.
The Secret Garden is also an ideal space for outdoor team meetings midweek, with our all-day food menu available Monday to Sunday.
